What happens after I receive my permit?

the issuance of your permit, you may receive an “Orange Card”. The orange card
is to be placed within a window that is visible from the street.  The Orange Card will outline any special
instructions relative to the type of project, such as the required
inspections.  Upon receiving the orange
card or a copy of your approved permit, construction on your project may
begin.  During your project, depending on
the work being performed, inspections will need to be made at various times
outlined in the permit notes or on the orange card.  It is the responsibility of those intending
to construct, enlarge, alter, repair, move, demolish, or change the occupancy
of a building per the permitted work to call the Development Services
Department to schedule all required inspections. Inspections should be called
in a minimum of 24 hours in advance of the desired time of requested inspection
at 307-872-6140.
